4. Tips and Tricks
The Cortex Fight is the final and fifth boss encounter of the Memory Map. This encounter is spawned randomly on the Memory Map.

This map device needs to be interacted with before it will open 6 portals into the Fractured Laboratory. first time i met Cortex with life% mod and resists increased aoe. i just go there and delete it. no point in fighting the impossible.
I also got Cortex before I did the others, only killed one or two when it spawned. Thanks for the info, it dealing mainly lightning dmg is obvious in hindsight but didn’t think of it 😀
Offering to the Serpent can drop too. https://youtu.be/4YjBSn2iE6c?t=189 proof
Cortex Boss spawned for me with only 3/4 other Bosses killed.
The Boss seams a bit overpowerd (3.6.3). I killed Shaper today for the first time and it was so easy compared to the Cortex. It took around 5min to get to the second Phase because i barly did any Damage.
